As the sun sets,

I only think of you,

and how we would walk,

hand in hand,

on the beach.

I knew in my heart,

those days were numbered.

But in my mind,

I just couldn't believe it.

The day you left,

was the saddest day of my life.

You left at the same spot,

where we first met,

where we first kissed,

and where you first told me,

you loved me.

You'll always be on my mind,

and in my heart.

I love you,

always and forever.
