Can flowers and weeds

root from the same plant?

Can it be possible

for them to feed off of each other

rather than fight for water

Lines of communication

have been shut down

and are drenched

to prevent future circulation

There is no taking back  tears

or keeping clothes on hangers

the smell of clean laundry is gone

She can't write the prose

for fear of the truth slipping

resulting in mindless psych babble

putting sugar on a lemon

to make tings sweet temporarily

until the bitterness is rediscovered

hiding under the granules, but still evident all along
