I sometimes wonder, if nothing lasts forever, then why is there such a thing as forever? If nothing on this God-given Earth can stand up to it or last its time span then how is it there? How does it exist? How did it come about?
Something that is currently in my life reminds me of this. My boyfriend and I commonly say, "I will always love you forever..." We both know that may not be possible. But then again it is. Because simply, no one lives forever. That goes hand-in-hand with the fact that nothing lasts forever. So how can a love last something that doesn't exist? Now, acknowledge this--in your heart, a love can last until you die and then some. If you are never born again into anything then your love can last for as long as you wish it whether you're in heaven or hell. See, what matters to you is that you will "forever" be with that one you love. That's how we both feel. Although, we do not know our future lives. We do not know tomorrow, next week, next month, next year or the rest of our lives, let alone our dying day. So that says you cannot tell that forever exists, and if so, what it's like. Simply put, no one can tell that something may last forever, a day less, or a day more. But here lies the undying question: what is forever? That's up to you to find out.
