Surrounded by cover ups and fakes
Deceit written in bold
Can't believe what anyone says
The truth cannot be told
There is no belief to ones story
No way to embrace the truth
Always fighting to show innocense
But no one can show the proof
I swear I cannot tell a lie
Is what they all would say
Even look you in the eye
Hoping their way you'll sway
Preach the Bible, preach the Word
Something they constantly do
But if not Sunday, they turn the other cheek
And act like they never knew
Will open my heart to no one
Can't pull me into your sin
For if you don't know Jesus
Your lying will never end
So don't bother to convince me
I no longer care to know
But just remember this one thing
You will always reap what you sow
