The Real Me

Look at me

You may think you see who I really am

But you'll never know me

I wear a mask

Look through glass

Hide from my past

Grown up to fast

Experienced too much

Broke hearts many times

Hid my face behind blinds

Had a fake smile for a long time

Found love and lost it

Found truth and falsed it

Found you and faked it

Found right and mistaked it

Where am I now?

Face to the ground

Talking without sound

I let myself down

In this world of innosense

I find no peace

I have no where to escape

But through those curly gates

And when I am gone

Then and only then will I truly see

What was to never become

The real me
