No More

I don’t smile anymore,

I don’t look up to the sky no more,

I don’t laugh,

Nor do I cry.

I don’t share no more,

I don’t care no more,

My heart no longer explores.

I don’t hear no more,

I speak no more,

See happiness no more,

I’m behind closed doors.

I don’t dream no more,

Involve in love schemes no more,

My thoughts no longer soar.

There was a once before,

When I did all this and more,

When I loved you down to the core.

But that love we no longer endure,

What’s left is only impure,

Broken hearts left uncured.

Very smooth, elegant, and pretty, as well as incredibly sad. My sympathies for whatever motivated this piece, but I do like it very much.
