Deny my love, my little heart

Curse it by your name

Glue the pieces that have fallen apart

Only to break away as the same



Hide behind my aching breast

Do not peer out at him

For if you do, you’ll burst my chest

And feel the love within



Bind yourself with metal chains

Suffocating your love to death

If you don’t, you’ll feel the pain

Whilst gasping love’s first breath



Don’t pass the words through my lips

For, they want only to speak of truth

And if the utterance unconsciously slips

Hidden fears will yet to remain uncouth



It has a mask as dark as night

Love hinders everywhere

Hide yourself from the light

My little heart; do not care



Love will steal your breath away

Right before it tears you apart

Lingering, waiting for its prey:

An unsuspecting heart



So listen now, don’t fall in love

Or you will surely drown

Do nothing this thief speaks of

Stay hidden, tied up and bound
