Been searching for a long time for a real friend
Not the phony type …….. Damn how can I begin
To explain the way you’ve impacted my life…
They days inside I just didn’t feel right
Like my life was over not about to begin
You stuck by my side being a true friend
Not just the convenient type
When its good for you
But the always and forever type
There for me even when I m blue
I ve search to try and find the right words to say
But instead every night I get on my knees and pray
That god continues to allow you to make my life feel alright
