If I knew you then, like I know you know
I would have stopped the monster
someway..........somehow.
A classmate....playmate..a friend
I would have been...someone , maybe,
you would have confided in.
Exposing the monster and his unthinkable sin.
Never allowing him to hurt you again.
But--this cannot be--we can't turn back time,
though the monster will pay for his hideous crime.
Theres coming a day , when you'll find inner peace,
when your soul will finally conquer the beast.
It may not be in this world,
but in the world to come,
when you find rest in the arms of the Higher One.
