I made you love me pretended I was true.

everything you did to me I did to you.

for every tear I shed you shed twice as much.

all those nights you were alone,

another felt my touch.

another felt my kiss.

I bet you never thought it would come to this.

Never saw me loving someone else.

thought if I wasn't with you I would be myself.

Sadly you were wrong,

I have never felt a love this strong.

Never has a man made me feel like this,

I am lost in his touch and found in his kiss.

what did you think that I would sit around and wait,

while you took me for granted but you see its too late.

I remember the look on your face,

as you stared at the empty space.

It used to be the home I shared with you.

now its just where you rest since we're through.

you'll never find someone that will hold you like me,

for you to erase my trace is unlikely.

hopefully you'll get over yourself and won't be ruled

by your pride.

cause when all else fades away you'll only have whats left inside.
