You said you'd never turn your back on me, why are you leaving?

you said I could see the love in your eyes, looks can be decieving.

You said you would always be here to hold me tight,

but where are you tonight.

you said things were going to change all you needed was time.

I don't remember you mentioning you would leave me behind.

You said you wanted me by your side to share your joy and sorrow.

but today you say good bye, right now I don't care about tomorrow.

You said I made you happy and you saw warmth in my eyes.

by any chance when you were looking did you see the tears I cried?

after all the happiness we shared  I don't care to be your friend.

I knew when all was said and done you'd hurt me in the end.
