Christmas Delights
Karyn Indursky written with Dove
Blessed are we to share dark chocolate days
where presents are exchanged with loving hugs
wrapping people with Hershey Kiss sashays
sweeter than velvet words painted on mug
Gracious are we to share vanilla days
covered swirls of milky chocolate slither
down into red cherry syrup ways
to making our sweet tooth daydreams quiver
Christmas Tins filled with Caramel Popcorn
and Sugar Cookies made with fine butter
Home made gift baskets of nuts with acorns
oatmeal cookies made of peanutbutter
Our holidays are blessed with wondrous treats
Come one, come all, now it is time to eat

Yummy this sonnet makes me hungary. Bring on Christmas time every year, what a great celebration and your poem suits too. Well written sonnet, I also liked the rhyming. Well done both of you.
