Like a quilt your words are sewn together
with elegant adjectives and thee verbs
dancing to a sweet song with thy feathers
of a daring dove never disturbing
Thine eyes of poetry dancing pens giggle
as they tell silly limericks with smiles
while paper is blown by winds and wiggles
starting a chuckling section for miles
Thou arms are a welcoming hug for thee
as you snuggle into writer's embrace
who's muse is as pretty as thy birth trees
capturing nature loving writing race
As long as the sun raises it's head today
nature will mingle in a poetic way.
