Grown from a seed

planted into fertilized soil

water sprinkles to quench its thirst

while developing with the help

of a gardens hands yanking weeds

to let the sun transform it

into a stalk with leaves

hugging the nourishment

until the center full of new seeds

have zebra striped petals

animating nature's marvelous

beauty opening paths

to gardened art.
