My heart is the American flag

promoting equality, diversity, freedom.

My hand is the American flag

soaring beauty across nations

like a salute to 

our troops, heroes, soldiers.

My poetry is the American flag

sharing the love of

life, liberty, and 

the pursuit of happiness.

My American flag

flies on the pole

with courage, bravery, and a tribute to praise

those who fought to get our rights 

and not only protect us, 

but also our loved ones.
