Colline loved Darron. She always listened to him,
gave him advice, hung out him every afternoon,
helped him any way she could, cherished his hugs,
felt blessed by having him, hid her sorrow as he
went through girlfriends, watched him grow with
wisdom, wiped his tears away, and so much more.
Darron didn't reciprocate her feelings. He used her,
took advantage of her, played with her heart,
had her as a "spare" girl, kept her wrapped
around his finger, didn't give her any serious
thought, never appreciated her, didn't care what
happened to her, etc.
Colline talked with her friends about it. They
helped her see what he was doing. Gradually,
she kept her distance from him. Her A's went to hundreds.
Everything became better for her. At times, she
missed him. Knowing she had done the right thing
kept her from going back. In time, she realized it
was really Darron who had missed out.
