Water Girl

Water Girl

Karyn Indursky

Jagged rocks cut into her
flesh like he did. This time
though she's in control. The hell
with his greedy, demanding hands
ripping off her stained thin fabric
to see cotton panties. Forget his
moans of approval as he chases
away her thoughts of rebellion
until she's in defeat. Her emotions
flow out from the grimy rocks
like his eyes undressing her soul.
Numbness claims her as she
remembers the taste of him and
how he made her please him. Her
once tight ass is loosened and
pain flows in droplets that she
no longer cares about. Nothing matters
as she cuts through internal boundaries
for death's freedom. But it's not to be.
She's stuck alive with memories. African
water. Despicable.

Author's Notes/Comments:

God bless Africans surviving these wretched conditions and accomplishing more than they ever dreamed.
