Discrimination

Eyes of a killer
burning me
for medical problems
beyond my control.

Ears of a gun
blowing my brains out
because of how I talk.

Feel of extortion
depicting "popularity"
verses giving me a chance.

Touch of fire
scorching my vision
while I "try"
to be professional, polite, patient.

Smell of defeat
because no matter
how I feel
I can't change people.
