to be my friend
and you weren't.
You were there
when it was convenient.
You weren't there
for the good times and bad.
You didn't meet me
like you were supposed to.
You didn't do anything,
but not be home and be too busy.
You jump in and out of my life all the time
and want open arms,
but it's so hard
because you weren't ever fully there.
Sure, I'm talking to you tonight,
but will you be here tomorrow
or the next day?
I think not.
You're not really my friend.
You're just a visitor
from time to time.
