Upon a rickety stool
sits a lady
with Mars red hair
gleaming in splendor
beneath street lights
flickering in blinks
before blowing out
again in the alley
of where no one
hears her soul shaking songs
escaping her cracked lips
ever so softly
as to avoid
sinister eyes finding her
silver bucket ones
for removing her
ratting out their crimes
after heinously eating away
rat bites of her
food starved voice
barely audible to
death ears slapping shut
doors to hearing
melodic dreams.
