aren't the biological type.

My sisters
are the women
I turn to with
secrets, laughter, support.

My sisters
are the women
who supply
hugs, ears, inspiration.

My sisters
are the women
who accept
advice, trust, love.

My sisters
are the women
God blessed me
as my friends.
