My Son (Prose)
Karyn Indursky 01/26/09

His little arm was wrapped behind my head. His cheek pressed against mine. In a moment, an earthshaking instant my life changed. For he told me the sweetest, most endearing thing I've ever heard..."I love mommy." Not only once did my life possess more meaning than ever, but three times he uttered this beautiful, wondrous, magnificent sentence. The love poured from his eyes, spilled across his mouth, and made me complete. God and every mother knows there is nothing better than your child shares his love with you as you've attempted to give him. Yet in the simple from, I call Conner...my son.
