Life's Weather

Despite all the hurdles
blocking rays of happiness
at times when our rain pours
we don't stand alone.

Despite all the obstacles
clouding the sunny smiles
spreading compassion, understanding, sympathy
we will persevere.

Despite all the thunder
ruining laughing mercilessly
upon raw noses and sopping eyes
we will conquer.

Regardless of negativity
pulling us under
until our faith blooms
we are guided by God's forecast.
