For years,
we reiterated
our Pledge of the Allegiance
as a means of showing
respect for the dead,
our ancestors,
our soldiers,
our land,
our freedom,
our everything.
We were
proud and heard.
Now, we're
too meek
and willing to buckle.
We need to
set our priorities
to show our
nationalism and patriotism.
