Women are caterpillars
seeking leaves to feast
upon delicately, daintily
as we mature
and wrap ourselves
in our cocoon
waiting for the perfect tree
to hang from
while internally our changes
begin to transform
our externalities
until we're radiant
from the inside out
to show our
radiant beauty as
God's beloved butterflies
