Shattered heart
of dreams
ripped me apart
at my seams
to fall apart
in pieces
upon my floor
to be stepped on
or vacuumed up
or maybe restored,
but my heart's broke
like an overused glass
and these pieces
are too tiny
to be picked up,
put back together,
and fixed.
