You turn away from me
with the most amazing ease
I've ever been coerced into
seeing, hearing, feeling, knowing, experiencing
without ever realizing my ability
to notice how very little
you care about repulsive me
when a slamming door shuts
in my tear dripping heart
giving you back your life
while taking my chance at
having someone love me back.
