in charge of hundreds of men
and there is only
one escape. A leader
at war dictating men as thinks
about her crushed velvet
skin. A leader at war
illustrating elaborate plans
before he caresses a pebble
in his mouth as he recalls
the taste of her heavenly
mouth. A leader at war
demanding men to remain
alert before he dreams about
how her body feels against
his in passionate mating. A
leader at war watching over
his men like a protective father
while fantasizing about sending
them home to their beloved
families and sweeping his sweetheart
off her feet. A leader at war
shooting enemies to save his
men during an emotional struggle with
what happens if they all die
and he craves her alto voice whispering
sweet nothings to show she cares.
A leader at war defending
his country and then arrives her
Dear John letter. A leader
at war helping his men carry
more than the burdens of lost
soldiers and he takes all her
pictures and the pebble
to be destroyed. A leader at war
saving his men's lives and burning
her lies, deceit, betrayal.
