Blue



I saw a beautiful color today.

A color that brought back memories,

A color so brilliant but so sad.

So sad that just looking at it hurt.

It hurt my heart and it hurt my soul,

It took me back to a time I didn’t want to remember.

A time when you hurt me.

A time when I could relate to that color.

Suddenly I realized I had a connection with this color.

A connection that will never be broken because…

We are both blue.
