80's

There was a place,

    That I did know,

Where the sun,

    Did not go down.

Parties and noise,

    And merriment.

Music to Mayhem.

    Frivolity spent.

Then came a man,

    A man to be met,

Who knew the consequence,

    When the sun didn't set.

He took on the biggest,

    And moved him along,

"I didn't know what hit me!"

    Was his departing tone.

He pushed and parted,

    Worked on what started.

And soon came the time,

    The parties departed.

Then early one 'morn,

     Over that once cursed abode,

With a dim glow,

    The sun slowly arose.
