I'm Frigid

I'm cold, I'm frigid

My body once plump with warmth and laughter

Is now deflated and filled with ice

I don't believe a word you say.
Your poetry rebutts it.
That tender, loving inner you,
Hibernates and roughs it.
Perhaps you feel a lethargy
Brought unto you by pain.
Take heart my gentle, poetess,
Your fires will blaze again.

Good, concise and very impacting in its simplicity and subject matter. Just not true of you. I've missed you and your writing.

today it's winter

tomorrow the summer wil return

so will warmth and paradise.
