Tree of Life

I want to heal you with my body

Soothe you with my soul

Shelter you at my feet

Like a wounded stag

Buffering the wild wind

Filtering the relentless sun

Shielding from circling birds of prey

Dampening the pelting rain

Come, lie under my outstretched branches

by the precipice

Look there, my love

You can almost see tomorrow
