I wanted just a taste,
All I wanted was a taste
A taste

I was down on my rent,
little did I know that I would get spent.

I needed to make a little dough.
It wasn't right though.

I took a trip,
It was a kick,

I just wanted a little taste of Hollywood

A taste of fame
Just A taste,
But I drowned myself in it,
and intoxicated in this shit.

I'll try to make it to the top,
I'll try to take it to the top.

Is this what it takes to be a star?

Oh, you won't go far.
