I am here left in a daze

Your eyes went from a loving glance to a hateful gaze

Your voice no longer gentle

Your touch no longer feeling sentimental

I see that you have changed

Now my life feels like it has been re-arranged

Darling what has happened to us

You are angry because you know I cannot trust

I just cannot trust exactly what you say

And I am really tired of felling this way

I gave you heart, body, and soul

Now I am left in a world out of control

Why did this happen to us

I thought in you that I could always trust

But instead my face is now encased in a smile of rust

And now I must be more serious

I don't like being so cold

I don't like being so bold

Look at what you have done to me

You stole my soul and refuse to set it free

I live in a world that is painted red

As everything around me seems to be dead

I am left soulless in your arms

You tortured me with all of your charms

Am I alive or am I dead?

Either way all I said

I want my soul back

Without it, it is my life that I truly lack

I can move on without you in my head

I could leave this place before you said

I love you
