As I stand here waiting

My mind ceaselessly begins debating

So I sit here hating

As everyone else around me is dating

Alas the hellish cycle of love

Protruding forth its will by a dove

It seems that no one hears my cries from above

And still I have no part in this cycle of love

So as I sit and linger

I feel the caress of a gentle finger

As I turn to see your face

Your arms pull me into a gentle embrace

I fear no longer to be alone

My heart no longer needth to roam

For my soul has found a new home

Finally you came in Flesh, blood and bone

Never will you seem

Anymore like a dream

So if you're lonely or feeling blue

Just tell me and I promise I'll listen to you

You can trust in me you know it’s true

I promise my Angel I'll always be here for you

All you have to do is open your heart to me

I'll be faithful, honest, and good so you'll see

That you can truly trust in me
