Grazing silently along the rocky edge

The cliff is behind me as I fell off the pledge

I made a vow to you, and now it's broken

You need no words, for your eyes have spoken

The soul that speaks with its eyes also kisses with a gaze

How you caught me, I am still amazed

For I am here still falling into the trap

I am caught again as some clothing flaps

I look up and see someone holding onto me with his arm

He saved ME despite my bad manners, or lack of charm

But I don't understand why you came for me

You could have had someone much better than I could be

But he whispers, “I cannot let you go."

My eyes look at him and plainly tell him no.

"Let me go! Let me fall back into the void below."

He stares at me as his eyes tell me no.

Slowly he drags me back up the cliff

My soul in pain and my body stiff

He still stares at me with saddened eyes

It was then I realized that love never dies

Things were different as he pulled me closer

I was the metal and he the molder

Since then I realized love never dies

It's always there hidden behind the darkest of eyes

He held me tighter as he looked back at me

The pain is gone and I am now set free

Our lives will go on as they used to be
