When you think about grandaunt Carmela the first thing that comes to your mind is all the puzzles that she had done in her entire life. It doesn´t matter if they were big or small, every time you visited her you can saw them finished or almost finished with scattered pieces on the floor and always in that special room where she spent hours and hours of fun trying to complete them. Sometimes she can insisted you so much to do a puzzle with her, even thought at first you unlike it, later you realize why she did puzzles all the time, it can be so incredible peaceful and quite nice, so you started to enjoy doing puzzles with her. In time my family also realized that if she asked you to do a puzzle, it might be the way she can tell you that she want to spent some quality time with you. When that happens she let you pick the puzzle. So you can chose over hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of puzzles, either very big, medium or very small size, one with few pieces or with a lot of them, it can be a colorful one or a white and black one, also it could be about a beautiful landscape, or people, as well too about cities all over the world or about anything you can imagine. All this tons of puzzles were kept carefully by her in an enormous closet especially for them. Catastrophe times came when a puzzle piece was missing, like crazy my grandaunt Carmela was looking up and down the house for that piece, making everyone in the family to help her searching for that specific puzzle piece, until she found it. But in time when she doesn´t found it, she forgot about it. Happy times came too, when a puzzle was complete, sometimes if it was enough beautiful so she framed and putted in a wall in her house, or maybe other times she would gave them like a gift to someone she cares about. Her personality shows up when she was doing a puzzle, always easy going, pacific and patient with puzzles and also with people. After all it don´t matter how fast or how slow she did a puzzle, the important point was that when she was doing a puzzle she was not alone instead she was with all the people that she cares about.
