Where is my heart … it wanders
Lost for an eternity without you
The light glows dimly
Merely an ember – such is hope
The void unfillable, unquenchable
Maybe this is what makes me undesirable
Perhaps if hope were to die
It would be bearable in nothingness
But this desire fueled by nonsensical faith
How can I believe in the impossible?
And yet… Here I am
