illuminating
snow covered limbs.
Throwing reflection
upon a slow moving brook,
while ice forms
along its banks.
Two swans
mated for life,
paired together
for a late day swim.
While a gentle
winter breeze,
flows along
the forest floor
as a heart is seen
on the water’s surface.
