Winds and rain upon my flesh



causing chills deep into my bone

until I shake, shiver and thresh



and can hear myself begin moan.

Goethe Stanza


A very different poetry form than most poets are used to, is the Goethe Stanza.
With this one each stanza comprises of a single line, a couplet and a single line.
Each single line rhymes with a line from the couplet, one starting and one
completing the stanza. Here is the suggested pattern, there is no set meter:
