Deception when used is a terrible thing

It's used by those who have no good purpose

For those who deceive have only one motive

Which is prevent the truth to be known



Deception comes in all colors and flavors

So be careful to see it when it's there

Those who use it try to make it look sweet

But in fact it is sour and pale



Sour in taste that leaves your mouth bitter

Pale in it's color for it has not any substance

Just like the souls of those perpetrators of deceit

Who like rats scurry in the slime of their heart



Do not trust those who practice this trait

They will be sly and watch out for themselves

Because they are the ones you can never trust

With your heart, your wealth, or even your life



But life is good and the truth will be made known

To those who are true in their thoughts and actions

For magicians of deception cannot vanish the truth

To those that are pure in their soul and heart
