Known throughout the world as the King

Becoming famous by the way he could sing

Causing all the world's young to revel

He took Rock 'n Roll to a whole new level



The girls just loved his gyrations

And his movements with all there vibrations

While on stage he had them in awe

For that is all that they saw



He wiggled and shook

And that's all that it took

For they screamed and they yelled

And his stardom was propelled



He sang Rock 'n Roll and Ballads so slow

As well as Gospel and standards you know

But his talent wasn't limited to song

For in other areas he couldn't go wrong



Movies, records, concerts, and more

Caused his celebrity to certainly soar

For he could act, entertain, and sing

And forever Elvis will be known as "The King"
