I watch the eagle fly high over my head

Observing the beauty of its flight

Catching the air with its feathery wings spread

Majestically soaring with all of its might



It's amazing that some are unable to see

The wonder of nature's delights

All things are here to live and be free

It is one of our inalienable rights



However there are those who wish it not be

Wanting to make it not be so

Freedom you see has no guarantee

From those who are evil you should know



They desire to control our thoughts and beliefs

To make our existence all of their own

Attempting to be all of life's thiefs

Making us all just one of their drones



This does not have to happen to us

We can prevent it from being our destiny

Fighting to prevent it and making it thus

Keeping the world from hate and tyranny
