Forty-Two Years

Folder:
2010 Poetry

Forty-two years married this year,

while pursuing my dreams

with wife;

The one I cherish and hold dear,

despite all her silence

and strife.

Sweet words whispered soft in my ear,

not too often it gleams,

quick knife;

With her I happily adhere,

for twelve good years it seems

of life.
