The Daily War

Snap.
It’s the sound a pencil makes
As it breaks
In a crowded classroom

That person walking down the hall
Smiling and talking
Even though that person is
Covering up it all

No one knows what she sees
What she hears

She can hear those whispers
She can see those faces her peers make
When they think she’s looking away

She weeps at night
Her tears hitting her pillow with the weight
Of a thousand hearts

She slips from his grasp
Shes now gone forever
And hes left with a big hole
That can only be filled by her love

But she is gone
Gone forever till the end
He loved her and always will
Forever till the end of time
