Have ya ever been pinned down

By something so light?

Something worth the effort yet

Something not worth the fight

And you'd fight it if you could,

But you'd just be swinging around

The something's there, you know it is

But it's not, and it slowly brings you down



And to think, you once had this all figured out

Or so you thought, but know you were wrong

And now you're just left without



Without the ease, that came with pain

The pain's not there, but hurts just the same

And you don't why or what's even holding you down

But out of nowhere, it's attacked you so quickly and

You're left alone...

To wonder and writhe on the ground
