We’ve known each other

For what felt like forever

And is now,

Only an instant

In time

We held each other

In times of disaster

And have assisted one another

In times of need

We have been

A sister

A brother

An acquaintance

A friend

An enemy

We have dried tears

And we have caused them

We have set goals high

And attained them

And we stand here

Before you today

Changed by every

Interaction every choice

Confident and ready

To move on
