Moses adopted by a princess,

Ran from Egypt to save his life,

God’s presence in a burning bush,

Sent him back to free Israel from strife.



Twelve spies were sent out to look,

When they returned not all agreed.

Ten came back trembling with fear,

Caleb and Joshua shouted ‘Victory’!



Naomi had two sons die,

Their wives she loved so dearly,

Ruth gave up all she knew,

Her commitment was seen clearly.



David left tending his sheep,

To take his brothers food and sing.

To war he was sent with five stones,

The giant he brought down with his sling.



Saul headed to Damascus,

The Christians he planned to kill,

Then blindness struck by God’s hand.

Changing to Paul, he lived God’s will.



Will God’s call I hear today?

Surrender and follow my Lord.

In obedience giving my life,

Using my voice to share His Word.
