Today is the day,

You cross a line.

No longer a child.

Precious son of mine.



Each day you learn,

You grow and change.

Learning about God.

Limits, within your range.



I see you struggle,

To see where you fit.

But I see your strength,

Your goal, you will hit.



Thirteen is a magical age.

A year in the balance,

Still time for cars,

Not yet ready to dance.



You’ll do just fine.

I can see God’s light.

Keep your eyes on God!

His glory, in you, shines bright!
