Embracing the Truth
I have been Your child for many years,
I’ve felt Your presence through many tears,
I have know that You love me so deep,
I’ve know that my hurts do make You weep.
The fact that You sent Your son to die.
The knowledge that you reign on high
The fact that through blood came forgiveness,
The knowledge that You give me perfect rest.
This knowledge was not wasted on me.
I knew I’d been given new eyes to see.
Yet I realize that I had not conceived.
I’d not embraced, I’d only believed.
Your love for me was enough to live.
My soul, precious enough to forgive,
That you really love me through and through,
The good, the bad, You already knew!
You’re Awesome God, Creator of man,
You control the world in Your right hand.
Alpha Omega Beginning End,
Your purpose of love was hearts to mend!
Here I am, just one faulty person.
You say for just me all this was done.
In Your presence You want me to come.
To worship You Father,
Forever, in Your kingdom!
